RIA makes body care and fragrance for the hour when nobody is watching. Scents run through the range and each one exists in more than one form.

Made to be layered

That is the whole idea, and it is the reason the range is small.

A scent laid down in the bath lasts longer than one sprayed on at the door. A lotion holds it against the skin for hours without ever raising its voice. A mist sits on top and can be reapplied whenever you like. A perfume goes on last, over everything else, where it holds for hours longer than it would on bare skin.

Built up this way, a scent stays close. It travels the length of an arm rather than the length of a room, which is the point.

The names are not decorative. 

Two of the six lines are named for moons — Ayla is the Turkish word for the halo that forms around one, and Elara is a moon of Jupiter, named in turn for a woman in the old Greek stories. Two are named for acts of softness: lenity is gentleness, the word once used for mercy in a judgment, and to elide is to pass over something lightly. The last two are named for a voice and for a state of mind — an aria is sung alone, and ataraxia is the Greek word for freedom from disturbance.

Our perfumes are built on powder — the quietest way to wear a scent, and the oldest.
